BeSafe Haven tested by mum Roxanne

BABYmatters asked Roxanne, mother of three, to test the brand-new BeSafe Haven carrier with her youngest daughter, Annelie. Here’s what she thought!

Mum Roxanne shares her experiences:

I already had quite a bit of experience with carriers, because I used them with my two other daughters, so I jumped at the chance to test this new, ergonomic carrier. Annelie is seven months old now, so she was the ideal age to subject the BeSafe Haven to a thorough test!

What immediately stood out to me was how easy this carrier is to use. If you've never used a carrier before, all the straps and buckles may seem complicated, but this was not the case at all with the BeSafe Haven. First of all, the straps have pre-shaped padding, so that when you put them over your shoulder, they stay in place and are easy to fasten.  You don’t have to stop the straps from sliding off your shoulder or hold them all the time. I was able to fasten the straps with 1 hand while holding Annelie with my other hand. I didn’t need any help or tricks for that, and it was super quick!

Extra convenient: the super easy Flex-Shape Buckle! You really don’t have to worry about your skin getting caught in the buckle, and fastening and releasing it couldn’t be quicker. The special Flex-Shape Buckle is, therefore, not only aesthetically more attractive than a traditional buckle, it is also a lot easier to use.

The BeSafe Haven is made of super soft material, which really creates a very pleasant feel. The fabric felt like a second skin or a soft garment that you wear, and I suppose it felt the same to Annelie, because she certainly never complained about it! 😉

What she also enjoyed was being carried on my tummy facing outwards now and again, so she could see out into the world. Never for prolonged periods, of course, and not in busy places. But the fact that the BeSafe Haven gives me this option is what I find great about this carrier.

We are highly enthusiastic about the BeSafe Haven, and we look forward to our next outing!
