ISOfix is a system for fitting child seats in cars. The system comprises two rigid metal anchor points located in the gap between the back and sitting section of the car seat. Child seats with ISOfix contain two ISOfix arms that slot into these metal anchor points. The child seat also has a third point of support, usually in the form of a support leg that rests against the car floor.
Child seats with ISOfix are generally very easy to install, significantly minimizing the risk of incorrect use. Experience would suggest that a high proportion of traditional child seats are incorrectly installed and an incorrectly installed child seat can create a false sense of security. The ISOfix system offers a heightened level of safety as the risk of a child seat being incorrectly installed is minimal.
After a rear-facing child seat has been installed, slide the front seat back so that it makes contact with the child seat, in order to prevent the child seat from striking the front seat in the event of a collision. If it is not possible to make contact between the front seat and the child seat, the minimum distance should be 25 cm.
We are unable to offer detailed information regarding production of our Tula products, including estimates on when prints will return, as this is based on availability of materials, production constraints, and many other factors. We do try to offer many options on a regular basis to accommodate many different preferences. We recommend watching our Facebook page for any announcements of new prints, and our website for any restocked prints!
We do not recommend back carrying your child until your baby has strong and consistent head, neck, and torso control, and can push him or herself independently into, and remain in, a seated position on a consistent basis.
Premature babies may reach developmental and physical milestones at different times. Therefore, Baby Tula suggests consulting with your medical professional to get more information and guidance on carrying options for your premature baby.
