Jersey Sleeping Bag 2,5 Starting from € 69,90
The Jersey sleeping bag is best suited for babies who are rolling and sitting up. When the swaddling phase is over and a baby is ready to sleep with his arms free, this is the ideal sleeping bag! With its adaptable shape - as well as the stretchy organic cotton fabric - the Jersey sleeping bag still mimics the effect of swaddling!
The zipper works in two directions, making diaper changes quick and easy. The Jersey sleeping bag's bell-shaped bottom ensures proper development of the hip joints, hence its recognition by the International Hyp Displasia Institute!
With the handy thermometer and dressing guide included with each product, parents know exactly how to dress their baby for every nap, day and night!
The Jersey sleeping bag is available in two sizes: 3-12 months (fitting 62-76cm and 6-10kg) and 8-24 months (fitting 68-92cm and 8-14kg).
Washing instructions:
Wash gently and cold in the washing machine, at 30° and with a mild detergent. Hang the sleeping bag to dry, preferably not in full sun in summer. Tumble drying is not recommended, the sleeping bags can be ironed lightly.

Yes, our 3.5 TOG Sheeting sleeping bag comes with sleeves, suitable for room temperatures below 21°C.
This can sometimes occur with our organic cotton stuffing after the first wash. The reason is that small (and random) pieces of organic cotton buds get stuck in the filling of some ergoPouch sleeping bags. Because the organic cotton filling of ergoPouch sleeping bags is not chemically bleached, the pigment from these small stuck buttons ends up on the material during the first wash.
At ergoPouch they have done several tests with a stain remover and in 99% of cases the stains go right out. It's understandable if you don't want to use chemicals, baking soda works just as well.
We have found that it is better to put the sleeping bag in a 'full' wash. A 'full' wash distributes the water more evenly and prevents the sleeping bag from absorbing most of the water. We recommend air-drying the sleeping bag first and then drying it on a low tumble setting to keep the fibers fluffy.
This is a common problem! Our sleeping bags are made to keep little fingers away from the zippers with extra large zipper guards. However, some children are very good at "escaping," so we recommend turning the sleeping bag inside out so they can't reach the zipper puller.
Sleeping with natural fibers can help your baby get a better night's sleep. Natural fibers wick moisture away from the skin and provide even warmth and body temperature.
ErgoPouch products are made of organic cotton and our 2.5 TOG and 3.5 TOG products are filled with organic cotton. So they are all highly breathable and keep babies warm without overheating. Synthetic fillings such as polyester do not have the same qualities and can cause temperature fluctuations at night, contributing to dangerous overheating. Heat retention can also be a problem for babies with eczema, worsening their condition.
We choose organic cotton because it's better for the environment and for your child. Growing organic cotton uses fewer artificial elements such as chemicals and pesticides, it helps keep the soil healthy, and fewer chemicals are used in the production process. Therefore, organic cotton is more sustainable, safe and environmentally friendly than its regular counterpart.
The Jersey sleeping bag is made of a soft and stretchy knitted organic cotton jersey fabric (similar to a t-shirt). Because of its slim fit and stretchability, we recommend using the Jersey sleeping bag for an easier transition from swaddling to a sleeping bag.
The Sheeting sleeping bag is made of a 400 thread count woven fabric (similar to a fitted sheet) with elastic jersey side panels. The Sheeting sleeping bag has a wider fit than the Jersey sleeping bag and is suitable for babies who like a little more room to move around in their sleeping bag, such as older babies and toddlers.
Base your decision on your child's weight and height. Our sleeping bags are suitable for children aged 3-12 months, 8-24 months, 2-4 years and 4-6 years. Consult the size chart for the correct measurements. A sleeping bag should fit snugly around the neck and armholes to prevent your baby from "slipping" into it. The bottom should also be bell-shaped so that little legs can move easily.
A sleeping bag is suitable for babies and toddlers who are past the swaddling phase, usually from about 3-4 months of age. If you have a baby who is younger and rolls, or a newborn who does not like swaddling, our Cocoon swaddling sleeping bag is still the safest option for them to use, with opened arm openings (using the snaps).
