Away from the crowds

After a busy day, full of new impressions, crying fits, and tantrums, your family can sure use some relaxation. A walk outdoors is the perfect way to unwind and clear your head. It almost feels as if nature can make your worries disappear for a while. You will begin to feel the benefits immediately, but in the long term, walking can help lower your stress levels.

Tip: Switch off your phone, so you can really be in the moment and enjoy the birds singing in the trees and your toddler’s laughter! ;-)

Easy and healthy

Not a fan of high-impact sport? Walking may be a more relaxed activity, but it’s still a form of sport. Because it’s so accessible, you can do it almost anywhere. All you need to do is step outside and go. It’s as easy as that!

Walking has innumerable health benefits, even if you only take a short 10-minute walk to get some fresh air. For instance, it is said to help prevent cardiovascular disease and diabetes. Would you like to lose a bit of weight? Then it helps to vary your walking pace from time to time, to increase your heart rate and breathing tempo.

Quality time

Taking a walk is the perfect moment for some quality time. Whether you follow a set route or simply go for a walk around a block, whether you take a walk with colleagues from work or with your family; getting out of the house for a bit is always good for you. And who knows, you might even discover some hidden treasures close to home.

Are you going for a long walk or are you taking more than one child? You can always combine a baby carrier with a buggy. The Elodie Mondo stroller and the BeSafe Haven baby carrier are ideal! The Elodie Mondo stroller is a smooth ride, has a large storage basket underneath and is very comfortable for both children and parents. Moreover, it has a large, sturdy hood and can be folded up very compactly. This means it takes up hardly any space in the boot when you have to drive your car to the forest or walking area.
